About Us

The Gamer Ledger covers the business side of gaming: marketplaces, creators, and the companies players trust with their time and money.

Since 2020, The Gamer Ledger has reported on the gaming industry with a simple rule: write for the player, not the press release. Our coverage is independent, reader-focused, and held to published editorial standards.

Priya Nair — Editor

The Gamer Ledger is staffed by a small team of full-time writers and editors based in Chicago, Illinois, supported by freelance contributors across North America and Europe.

The Gamer Ledger accepts no payment for coverage. Companies featured in our reporting have no influence over what we write, and our writers disclose any conflicts of interest before a story is assigned.
